The only thing that is clear is that they exist, the little people on the radio - you could ask any five-year-old. The letters W and S form a playful composition of soft and angular shapes and at the same time symbolise the connection between all the study programmes shown at the exhibition. Inconspicuous and often invisible, insects crawl and gnaw their way through the dead wood and find their habitat in it. Wood-dwelling beetles in particular form special symbioses with the trees and have developed unique skills during their evolution in order to survive in a wide variety of wood structures.The exhibition concept «Lebendiges totes Holz» is intended to convey my fascination for these animals in an informative and accessible way and motivate young visitors to discover and explore the world of
